The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company is a dynamic, flexible company able to mobilize and execute work in a wide variety of environments and locations in minimal time. The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company utilizes the I.B.E.W. union to provide competent, skilled labor. With the union behind us, we have always been able to provide enough workers to complete whatever work is placed in front of us. Additionally, the union provides valuable training to our employees, including technical, safety, and construction techniques.
Our work crews are productive and work with minimal supervision. With General Foremen in the field, the work crews receive all the support, direction, and supervision that they need. In addition, the General Foremen and crew foremen are in constant contact with our engineers, who work primarily out of the home office in Reed City. All crews working on any of our projects will be fully briefed as to what tasks are expected of them and what information needs to be obtained for reporting purposes. Upon completing tasks, the crew will forward all pertinent information to the main office.
