Industry Affiliations
The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company Safety Department is a very high concern for us. Last year we worked over 730,000 man hours and experienced minimal work injuries. We attribute this accomplishment to our comprehensive safety program.
Upon being hired by Hydaker-Wheatlake it is mandatory that all employees under take the OSHA 10 hour safety training which is provided by two of our trained OSHA instructors. After completing the OSHA 10 hour training class we provide a detailed safety manual that is specifically tailored to our industry. This helps our employees to make safe decisions and be aware of potential dangers in the field.
We also provide a variety of other training classes which includes but not limited to:
- OSHA 30 hour training
- Bucket Truck Rescue
- First Aid and CPR
- Pole Top Rescue
- Tower Rescue
- Digger Derrick Training
- Confined Space Entry
- Lock Out and Tag Out Procedures
